Swim Time

Here are some more pictures just swimming. The boys really did have a fantastic time. Ethan thought it was cool that he could hold himself on the side of the pool and look out at me!

Ethan in his suit that floats. He trully had more freedom in this than I thought.

Jace enjoyed the car floaty.

If this doesn't say cheese I don't know what does. Classic.

Fun In The Sun

Ethan absolutly loves swimming. He will actually bring us a swimmer and say, "want it" meaning, he wants to go outside. We try to take him swimming about every other day or so. He has no fear. He jumps in whether you are ready to catch him or not. When you hold his hands, he kicks his feet wonderfully. I really want to get him into swim lessons. He would love it and catch on quickly.

Mr. Independant at work. He loves to have the freedom to be on his own. He takes after his mommy.

So handsome

Ethan kept trying to flip out of his race car floaty!

I just think he is so darn handsome!!!

If looks could kill?

Lava Hot Springs, Idaho

This weekend Ethan and I went to Idaho to go camping and spend some fun swimming, watching the Founder's Day Parade and hanging out. Ethan and I pitched a tent on the side lawn and LaurenNichole, Kris and BJ slept in the tent too. The weather was so nice and the breeze was wonderful in the evening. We didn't even put the tarp thingy over the tent so basically the entire tent was mesh so we could see out the top and the sides. It was pretty funny however, the ducks, geese, cats, and dogs were not sure what the tent was all about. The cats and dogs kept trying to run into the tent. The ducks and geese only walked by. Along with the quack quack, meow meow and ruff ruff we had the train that went by every half hour or so. Ethan finally got the connection between his trains at home (they don't make noise) and what mommy has been talking about a "chooo chooo". Now, when he would hear the train go by he would point to it and say "choo choo"!.

LaurenNichole and Ethan eating pancakes!

Founder's Day Parade. This is really the first parade Ethan has been able to do anything at. He loved the parade and getting lots and lots of candy. LaurenNichole and Kris were in it. Craig was driving the Grand Marshall in his pimped out whatever kind of car it is. LaurenNichole was holding the sign that said, "Grand Marshall" R>

Kris was riding his horse and let me tell you, Ethan wanted ON THAT THING!

Now the fun begins. Ethan learns that passing cars and people on huge animals will throw candy out to you. This was hilarious. I wondered once all was said and done, "Does Ethan think all passing cars will throw candy?"

In Lava the parade starts on the west side of town, goes downtown (three or four blocks) and turns around and comes back. Imagine Ethan's shock when the parade started to COME BACK!! He was so happy he RAN into the middle of the street and pointed as if to say, "HEY FOLKS THEY ARE COMING! THEY ARE COMING!" He was your modern day Paul Revere!

After the parade we went back to the farm and Ethan got a chance to ride a horse. At first he started to cry and reach for me but after a second he got the hang of it and loved it!

They also had some Jersey calves that were about Ethan's height. He loved them. I think he was in animal heaven!

After riding the horse Ethan got a chance to help Kris brush and combe the horse.

Now, after looking at this video I realized how STUPID I was for standing there and watching my son comb a horse's hair while standing right behind the horse's legs. Hum...next time I will be MORE cautious indeed!

Before viewing this video, let me explain. Ethan earlier had been helping Kris brush the horse and so forth. Well, we got ready to pack up shop and get out of there. Kris couldn't find the horse comb anywhere. He looked and we looked and looked. Kris looked up and saw that the dog and it up by the front of the house and was chewing on it. So I was teasing Kris about blaming Ethan!
After the horse riding and brushing it's hair, we went to the White Wolf and had some baby back ribs. They were so good. While sitting Kris tried to entertain Ethan and well, Ethan thought he was looney!!! (we all knew that a long time ago)

After dinner we had New York style cheesecake and boy did Ethan love it! (excuse his head that has food on it. It looks like a bruise but isn't!
